Simulation of sound in rooms

Simulations play an important role in acoustics. There are applications in planning of acoustic environments, materials testing and in virtual reality systems. In this seminar we will give a short introduction to some methods for simulations of sound in rooms. The most used approaches will be explained: ray tracing and image source modelling as well as hybrid models.
